Two tasks, not one

The wiki's June activity looks like one event, but 18 June is a different task from the days around it. Two independent cuts show it: what the edits were about (figure 1), and the words the two groups used (figure 2).

1 · What each day's edits were about

timed-quiz language (R1–R5, deadline, relay, cohort…) mentions county.json other
16–17 June is the quiz (teal: ~2,500 edits carrying round/deadline language, zero county.json). 18 June flips: 6,543 edits, three-quarters about county.json (rust) and almost no round language — a single-file retrieval grind, not the timed sequence. 22 June is a third, smaller topic again. Hover a bar for counts.

2 · The words each group used

Share of edits containing each word, split between the timed-quiz edits (left, teal) and the county.json edits (right, rust). The two vocabularies almost don't overlap: the quiz owns the language of time and coordination (cooldown, countdown, deadline, relay, twin, heartbeat, seed); the retrieval task owns the language of fetching one file (county.json, jqp, md.succ, us-ma, regcf, investor.gov, thousands). Only proxy is shared. Counts are edits containing the word.
